Why Bookathon

WRITE TOGETHER, OFFLINE

Write a book in two days.

A hackathon is a marathon for makers: people who love creating gather offline, collaborate intensely in a short time, and craft something genuinely useful.

For writers, it might evoke The Decameron, or a scene where famous mystery authors gather in a snowbound manor to create together.

We want to make a sincere attempt at this in real life.

Gather in a small bar, spend two days, and write a book—romanticism for a restless age, and one small stone against the void.

JiaoDuan Reader is built on the belief that everyone should be able to read the world's books in their native language. We lower barriers to cross-language reading, make translation feel effortless, and let AI serve knowledge and creativity.
